Interns in the spotlight Front Line Service Professional Technician Rockstar on the Rise
Galuh Mohamad Reza is a Front Line Service Professional (FLSP) Technician intern based in our Indonesian office. With a great attitude and responsible work ethic, we didn’t think twice about having him join our team full-time after his internship. Here’s what drives him.
How do we bring fresh talent into the industry, and what does it take to succeed at Johnson Controls? This Intern Day, we put a few of our trusty interns in the hot seat and find out what drew them to the industry, and what makes them tick.
What do you do at work?
I do the maintenance and repair works for our YORK® chillers.
Why did you choose to work with Johnson Controls?
I think it’s a good company, and a great organization and I actually feel happy to come to work every day.
What is the biggest surprise / challenge that you've faced in your internship so far?
I think my biggest challenge was when I had to learn to socialize with our customers and colleagues at Johnson Controls, beyond just working with tools and machines. I think this is a very valuable lesson for me in a professional work environment.
What's your favorite thing about the work here?
My favorite thing is when I am able to truly understand our customers’ problems and solve them. I particularly enjoy learning on the job and taking these lessons to help me work better and smarter the next time.
Any advice for future interns?
Johnsons Controls is the best place to work for the future interns looking to enter the industry. It is a great organization with superb colleagues and opportunities.
What are some of your hobbies when you're not hard at work?
I have too many hobbies to speak of, one of which is playing soccer with my friends.
