Given that 80% of the worlds data is only created within the past 2 years there has been a proliferation of data centers being built worldwide. We have seen how the demand for PUE has been reduced from 1.7 to 1.3 and a single datacenter would easily consume north up to 50MW of energy. Is a sustainable future realistically possible for datacenters? What does it take for us to pivot and change how data centers and operate today to achieve neutrality?
